Hello, We have been getting some rain now after the beautiful 2 weeks on Indian Summer, they are talking frost tonight by us. last week I was cutting the back acre and I heard this noisy sound, and I did not see anything so I went around again and I see these big birds come out, I thought they were wild turkeys at first, and went and told Dennis who was cleaning out the shed before winter sets in. I then went into the house then to get my camera and went back on the tractor to go over and take some pictures. I parked the tracker and sat there and low and behold they come running at me. I thought are you stupid but I got pictures.
there are 4 one flew in the composed bin and has not fighyred how tyo get out so 3 come running and he was squaking like mad it was funny
from far away I thought they were Wild TurkeysHere are 3 running towards me.
here two are up in the tree and 2 on the ground
So my neighbor came out and I am laughing and they are hers they are Guinea Hens
So while we were talking a Hawk came flying down and she had to put them away so he would not get them. They are so cute to see and friendly. They love to eat bugs so that is good.

Halloween is not to far off are you going to a party or having one here is a Non alcohol drink
Jack-o-Punch Halloween Drink
3 Cups of Orange Sherbet
1 Litter of 7up
1 Can of Orange Soda
Ice
Directions
Add the ice to a large punch bowl, and then add the sherbet, 7up and orange soda.
Stir until the mixture is thick and lumpy then pour into glasses and serve immediately.
The sherbet will continue to melt once it has been added to the punch bowl, so keep plenty of ice on hand to ensure it is served cold and frosty.
You can also pop the punch bowl into your freezer for a few minutes and re-mix once it has a few minutes to chill. This will help keep that frothy, light texture.
