Taking down and putting away Christmas stuff , then I will vacuum the walls and ceilings real good since the tree has been up over a month I think it needs it. We had our Ribs last night for dinner to bring in the New Year. On New Years eve we stay home so we had Lobster tail, double baked potato, green beans with garlic, and I made
Tiziano
1 bottle Prosecco, chilled
1 1/2 cups grape juice, chilled
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
Chopped mint leaves, for garnish
Ice, optional
1 1/2 cups grape juice, chilled
1 lemon, sliced into thin rounds
Chopped mint leaves, for garnish
Ice, optional
Combine the Prosecco and the grape juice in a pitcher. Pour into glasses, over ice, if desired. Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
this recipe is from
Everyday Italian by Giada De Laurentiis
This was very good and yes I would make it again for a drink.
This is our second time doing the lobster on new years eve for us we said we do not go out so have something nice and we did.
We went to Sam's Club and got the lobster there was 2 to a package which was great and we payed $27.00 for 2 if you go out yes I know you pay for the party hats and stuff but this way we do not have to worry about who is on the road be there done that. They were close to 2 lbs so I am not complaing of that.
So now we go back to doing weight watchers plus so yes I will be posting weight watchers recipes, so I will convert into points that I eat like my yogurt with flaxseed, this is what I like and since I am a Diabetic I have to watch my carbs and I have to make sure I count and write down and really get into this like the new theme is BELIEVE, so Yes it is my time to BELIEVE that I can do it. So here we go come Saturday I go into get weigh in but I am starting to today. So wish me luck that I can do it.
Have a great day lets keep it safe out there and
Hugs Aletha
